Two Cases of Umbilical Vein Thrombosis, One With Associated Portal Vein Thrombosis
Abstract
BACKGROUND: Thrombosis of the umbilical vessels is extremely rare. It is unpredictable and is associated with high perinatal mortality. Few cases with neonatal survival have been reported.
