Antithrombotic therapy: guidelines for the elderly
Abstract
Introduction The purpose of this chapter is to summarize antithrombotic therapy guidelines that specifically address the elderly. Guidelines for elderly patients differ from those for younger populations because advanced age often represents an exclusion criterion in epidemiologic and clinical studies.
