Introduction to Cancer Stem Cells: Past, Present, and Future
Abstract
The Cancer Stem Cell (CSC) hypothesis postulates the existence of a small population of cancer cells with intrinsic properties allowing for resistance to conventional radiochemotherapy regiments and increased metastatic potential.
