OECD-NEA CODAP event data project on passive component degradation & failures in commercial nuclear power plants

Since May 2002, the OECD/NEA has operated an event database on passive component degradation and failure. During 2002-2011 the project, referred to as OPDE, focused on piping component failure events. In May 2011, the Project Review Group approved the transition of OPDE to a new, expanded "OECD-NEA Component Operational Experience, Degradation and Aging Program (CODAP)."
