Argentina: Years of uncertainty over

Abstract

Judging from the rapid reentry of the old multinational elevator companies in Argentina, reforms are expected to remain in place having the market open to international business. Due to fluctuating economic policies of the past, many companies lost their market positions, and clients felt abandoned or very satisfied with the local companies. With the launching of the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation (EESF), safety upgrades and changes helped the industry lift itself from the former status, thus, having the trust and confidence of their clients. The Argentinian industry appears strong; construction is up and modernization is now experiencing a resurgence.
