LED/LCD display modules for electronic billboards
Abstract
An LED/LCD based display using optical fibers for large size full colour display applications such as electronic posters has been developed. High efficiency and long life are achieved through the use of light emitting diode backlighting and plastic optical fibers that both map and expand the pixel field. © Copyright 2006 Society for Information Display.
