A Digital Current Control for Switched Reluctance Motor Drives

Abstract

Switched reluctance motors (SRMs) are highly non-linear. Therefore, their control over a wide speed range has unique difficulties. In addition, conventional and classic linear control techniques have limitations. In this paper, a novel digital current control for SRM drives is presented.
