COM model for longitudinally and waveguide coupled saw resonator filters

An extended coupling-of-modes model for longitudinally coupled and for waveguide-coupled surface acoustic wave resonator filters is presented. The relationship between device structure and performance is examined. Experimental measurements on two 100 MHz devices are used to validate the model.
