It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the Fifth IEEE International Conference on Cyber, Physical and Social Computing (CPSCom 2012) in Besancon, France on 20–23 November 2012. CPSCom 2012 is the current event in a successful string of international conferences on cyber, physical and social computing: CPSCom 2011 (Dalian, China, October 2011), CPSCom 2010 (Hangzhou, China, December 2010), CyberSocialCom 2009 (Hangzhou, China, November 2009), and CPSC 2009 (Brisbane, Australia, July 2009).
