Personal computers and modeling in engineering education
Abstract
Eight years ago we began investigating the role that computers could play in engineering education. A joint study contract with IBM provided us with the opportunity to develop and test ideas for using computers in education. This paper outlines our ideas on how to use computers to enhance engineering education. We have already implemented some of these ideas which we will describe in more detail.
