A batch reactor mass transfer kinetic model for immobilized biomass biosorption
Abstract
Inactive cells of Rhizopus arrhizus have been immobilized into the form of particles of desirable particle size using a proprietary immobilization technique. The immobilized biomass particles are porous and are members of a new generation of biological origin adsorbents.
