Peptide modified gold coated polyurethanes for thrombin inhibition
Abstract
The effects of peptide modified gold coated polyurethanes on thrombin adsorption and thrombin inhibition were examined. The polyurethanes were chemisorbed with a thiol containing thrombin inhibiting peptide. Thrombin adsorption to the polyurethane films was measured from plasma at different dilutions and from phosphate buffered saline.
