Polymer flow through spiral mandrel dies: an experimental study

This study provides an experimental technique for obtaining data related directly to the performance of a spiral mandrel distribution system. The data that has been presented can be used to test the validity of mathematical models in terms of both flow variation and pressure drop. The data can also be used to improve the mathematical simulations so that their predictions are more precise.
