Phenomenological modelling of electrically stimulated auditory nerve fibers: A review

Abstract

Auditory nerve fibers (ANFs) play a crucial role in hearing by encoding and transporting the synaptic input from inner hair cells into afferent spiking information for higher stages of the auditory system.
