Modelling and study of PM machines with inter-turn fault dynamic model–FEM model
Abstract
In this paper, a simple dynamic model for a PMSM with inter-turn winding fault is derived. Finite element method is used for parameter determination of machine with fault. This dynamic fault model is used to study the PM machine behaviour under various inter-turn fault conditions.
