Flatness-Based Control Method: A Review of its Applications to Power Systems

Abstract

Flatness systems comprise controllable linear systems, as well as nonlinear systems by static and dynamic feedback call endogenous dynamic feedback. Systems which are differently flat have several advantages which can be utilized to generate effective control strategies for nonlinear systems. In order to highlight the improvement of this control method, this paper provides an overview of this approach and its usage in some power systems including hybrid systems, power electronics and electrical drives.
