Radiation Therapy for Infiltrative Giant Cell Tumor of the Tendon Sheath

Abstract

PURPOSE: Giant cell tumor of the tendon sheath (GCTTS) has a high recurrence after excision and can be a management challenge. Although experience with radiation therapy for GCTTS is limited, it is purported to control infiltrative cases and prevent recurrence.
