Physical relationship between mean-field micro-mechanical approach and Orowan looping in particle-strengthened materials
Abstract
By comparison between expressions for the back-stress from physical metallurgy and from mean-field micro-mechanical approach in particulate strengthened materials, this paper is suitable to precise the physical meaning of the accommodation variables in micro-mechanical modelling.
