Benzothienobenzothiophene/polyimide blend-based organic phototransistors with double-layer gate dielectric

Abstract

Herein, we report on the double-layer gate dielectric effects on organic phototransistors (OPTs) based on 2,7-dipentyl[1]benzothieno[3,2-b][1]benzothiophene (C5-BTBT)/polyimide (PI) blends as channel materials. The content of C5-BTBT in a blend was varied from 90 to 10 wt.%. We fabricated OPTs with double-layer gate dielectric composed of PVP/pMSSQ (denoted as XD) and SiO2 dielectrics.
