Abstract
OBJECTIVE: A trial of psychotherapy for generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) demonstrated that motivational interviewing (MI) integrated with cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) outperformed CBT alone on clients' worry reduction across a 12-month follow-up.
