The Way We Teach… Haematology to Postgraduates

In this article, the author describes the levels of competence that residents in the postgraduate haematology programme at McMaster University are required to reach. He also discusses the rotations and elective programmes, designed to give postgraduate students experience in the clinical and laboratory setting. An account of the undergraduate haematology programme at McMaster's was published in the last issue of Medical Teacher.
