Thrombus Aspiration in Patients With High Thrombus Burden in the TOTAL Trial
Abstract
BACKGROUND: Routine thrombus aspiration in patients undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) does not improve clinical outcomes.
