Computation of domain‐average radiative flux profiles using Gaussian quadrature

Abstract

A method for calculating domain‐average radiative flux profiles, called Gaussian Quadrature Independent Column Approximation (GQ‐ICA), is introduced and assessed using cloud properties retrieved from A‐Train satellite data.
