Characterization of the Isothermal Precipitation Kinetics of an Al-Zn-Mg-Cu Alloy

Abstract

The isothermal precipitation kinetics of an Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy was characterized over a wide range of temperatures by means of in situ electrical resistivity measurements, hardness testing, scanning, and transmission electron microscopy.
