Abstract
A collection of papers presented at a symposium held to mark the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. The papers reflect not only the variety of subjects treated by contemporary research on Qumran, but also its international character. Many of the collection's papers deal with the study of texts.
