Measuring nonconstant flow in magnetic resonance imaging

Abstract

An attempt is made to quantify rapid flow using magnetic resonance imaging techniques. An analysis is presented in which it is assumed that constant velocity gradients are present. A deconvolution scheme which can remove the blurring from motion with acceleration is developed. This allows improved resolution and velocity determination.
