Deconvolution of overlapping peaks from differential scanning calorimetry analysis for multi-phase NiTi alloys

Abstract

An adaptive function capable of fitting the curve of Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) data for any NiTi phase transformation peak has been developed. A novel methodology was applied in conjunction with this new equation, allowing for the deconvolution of multiple overlapping NiTi phase transformation peaks.
