Seismic Collapse Capacity–Based Evaluation and Design of Frame Buildings with Viscous Dampers Using Pushover Analysis

A simplified procedure is developed for estimating the seismic sidesway collapse capacity of frame building structures incorporating linear and nonlinear viscous dampers.
