Closed Loop Control of a Six Phase Interleaved Bidirectional DC-DC Boost Converter for an EV/HEV Application

Abstract

This paper discusses and implements a control strategy for a six-phase interleaved bidirectional dc-dc converter for a battery system for an HEV/EV application. First, basic control strategies of dc-dc converters are reviewed for interleaving and for bidirectional operation.
