From Dopamine to Psychosis: A Computational Approach

Abstract

We present a computational model, based on formal reinforcement learning theory, that offers an explanation for why dopamine blockade leads to attenuation of the avoidance response in the animal experimental paradigm: Conditioned Avoidance Response (CAR).
