A proposal for the integration of behavioural research into International Space Station operations
Abstract
This paper proposes specific approaches for the conduct of psychological research on the International Space Station (ISS), and in the training programs supporting ISS. Justification for such research is presented, including improved safety and efficiency, the furthering of scientific knowledge, and the establishment of firm recommendations for the selection, training and support of future long duration crews on a mission to Mars.
