A Deoxyribozyme with a Novel Guanine Quartet-Helix Pseudoknot Structure
Abstract
Here we report a deoxyribozyme with a unique structure that contains a two-tiered guanine quadruplex interlinked to a Watson-Crick duplex. Through in vitro selection, sequence mutation, and methylation interference, we show the presence of both the two-tiered guanine-quadruplex and two helical regions contained in the active structure of this self-phosphorylating deoxyribozyme.
