Anatomic Distribution of Deep Vein Thrombosis in Pregnancy
Abstract
ABSTRACT There is a high risk of pulmonary embolism (40%–50%) in patients with proximal deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and maternal morbidity and mortality may be high among women with untreated or unrecognized embolism.
