Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the analgesic efficacy of calcitonin suppositories (200 IU) in comparison with bed rest and paracetamol tablets, as a rescue analgesic.
DESIGN: A prospective, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, clinical trial.
