Cyclooxygenase in the Lamb Ductus Arteriosus: Developmental Changes and Upregulation

Abstract

The ductus arteriosus is kept patent in the fetus by a process involving prostaglandin (PG) E2, both local and blood-borne, as the main effector [1].
