Unusual complication of radial artery cannulation
Abstract
Currently, radial artery cannulation is the preferred method for continuous hemodynamic monitoring in critically ill patients. Reported complications of radial artery cannulation include infection, digital gangrene, thrombosis, pseudoaneurysm, skin necrosis and median nerve palsy.
