The benefit of intraperitoneal chemotherapy for the treatment of colorectal carcinomatosis

Abstract

The clinical practice of hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemoperfusion (HIPEC) for carcinomatosis has lacked preclinical justification. A standardized mouse model was created to evaluate the independent effects of intraperitoneal chemotherapy.
