Indoor Localization Using Low-Complexity Luminaires and Ambient Light Sensors

Abstract

We show that the use of indoor lighting information can lead to improved convergence time and tracking error over a dead-reckoning approach. Additionally, performance can be further improved by introducing low-cost, low-complexity modifications to a subset of indoor lighting infrastructure.
