Kalman and smooth variable structure filters for robust estimation
Abstract
The extended Kalman filter (EKF) and the unscented Kalman filter (UKF) are among the most popular estimation methods. The smooth variable structure filter (SVSF) is a relatively new sliding mode estimator.
