Cutting performance of different coatings during minimum quantity lubrication drilling of aluminum silicon B319 cast alloy

Abstract

Cutting performance of cemented carbide drills with various coatings was investigated in detail under minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) conditions. An advanced dual-channel Bielomatik MQL system was installed in an Okuma machining center.
