An Account of Human Voluntary Movement Must Be Holistic
Abstract
The author summarizes and develops the reasons why although perceptual and cognitive processes and abilities are important for functional movement to emerge, F. Mechsner's (2004) proposed perceptual-cognitive account of voluntary movement is likely to be incomplete.
