Designing a Unified Process for Embedded Systems

Abstract

In the Embedded Systems and SoC (System-an-Chip) area, we defined a model-driven design methodology based on UML 2.0, UML profiles and SystemC. In this paper, we present the development process UPES (Unified Process for Embedded Systems) that we define to foster our methodology in a systematic and seamless manner according to the platform-based design principles.
