Abstract

Electrophoretic deposition (EPD) manufacturing technique has been developed for the cathodic deposition of a hydrotalcite-type magnesium–aluminum–zirconium hydroxide (MAZ) and composite coatings, containing MAZ in a matrix of poly(4-vinylpyridine-co-butyl methacrylate) (PVBM) or chitosan (CHIT) polymers.
