Probing forebrain to hindbrain circuit functions in Xenopus
Abstract
The vertebrate hindbrain includes neural circuits that govern essential functions including breathing, blood pressure and heart rate. Hindbrain circuits also participate in generating rhythmic motor patterns for vocalization.
