The construction of oxides periodic table is complicated by multiple oxides formed by elements with multiple valence states and by allotropes of the oxides. To construct such a table, the oxide which is stable at atmospheric pressure or the oxide with the most reliable data available, is identified. In order to include all possible oxide phases, it is more practical to list them by structure type rather than atomic number sequence. In this regard, a comprehensive table of oxides depicting two sets of properties, each including all metals and some nonmetals in the periodic table, is provided.
