Single crystal ZnSr:Mn prepared by ion implantation

Abstract

Single crystal ZnS was implanted with 100 keV Mn+ ions. Low-temperature ZnS:Mn emission spectra were obtained using 5 keV electrons for excitation. Phonon structure was observed in thermally annealed material, and Mn diffusion was measured using a depth-selective emission profile.
