Jodi Younger

Lecturer (Adjunct), Psychiatry & Behavioural Neurosciences

Jodi Younger is the Vice-President Patient Care & Quality at St. Joseph’s Health Care London. She has a Master’s degree in both Applied Psychology and Health Administration and is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Jodi is also a Fellow of the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement (Executive Training in Research Applications) and has completed the Rotman School of Management Advanced Health Leadership Program. Jodi is an Adjunct Professor with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, McMaster University.

With 30 years of experience in Mental Health & Addiction services, she currently oversees a broad clinical portfolio that includes community and hospital-based programs aligned to tertiary, forensic and specialty mental health care services for adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. As the executive lead for the organization’s corporate Quality Strategy and Clinical Decision Support, Jodi works collaboratively with other leaders to advance safe, effective and impactful care across the organization and in accordance with the practices endorsed by Ontario Health.


Jodi has particular expertise in strategic change leadership, across a broad spectrum of services, utilizing lean methodology and other evidence-based management tools. Her focus includes: health system re-design; intra-professional and inter-sectorial planning and service delivery models, mental health facility design and mentorship of emerging leaders. Jodi leads at provincial and federal tables focused on implementing new and innovative service delivery models, most recently including: police and mental health crisis response models, supported housing continuums, suicide reduction and prevention and Indigenous mental health.
