Dr. Edward Pugh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, a staff neonatologist at McMaster Children's Hospital (MCH) and the Medical Lead of Neonatal Transport.
He graduated from St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School in London, UK, in 2003. He immigrated to Canada in 2009 to complete his Pediatric training and a neonatal fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children. He is an educator in the Division of Neonatology, leading Canada’s only Neonatal Residency program for Physician Assistants.
His primary research interests include real-time computer-assisted decision support and early warning systems. Dr. Pugh is also the inpatient EPIC medical lead at McMaster and currently sits as an executive board member of Regional Medical Associates.
