Dr. Nagji has been a member of the Department since 2015. Since his time in the Department, he has demonstrated a strong commitment towards medical education. He has contributed to various academic programs that focus on clinical scholarship, and educational leadership and innovation. He has positioned himself to be a well-respected clinician within the local healthcare systems who is highly regarded by his peers. He has also advanced the mission of emergency medicine (EM) through his to commitment to patient-centered care and has positioned himself as a mentor and faculty advisor to learners. Nagji practices out of Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital (JBH) in Burlington and St Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH). He has been the Director of the EM Clinical Teaching Unit at JBH and SJHH, where he supported faculty development initiatives. He is also the Director of Simulation Learning at JBH and the Simulation Lead for the Mac-Care Burlington CEC where he facilitates regular in-situ simulation programs for staff and learners.
