Dr. Sarah McComb is a clinical and health psychologist. She is the co-director of the Eating Disorders Clinic at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and an assistant clinical professor in the department of Psychiatry & Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University. Her program of research is primarily focused on body image and eating disorders. Other research interests include psychotherapeutic interventions to improve body image and eating disorder treatment efficacy. She is currently collaborating on psychotherapeutic interventions to address body image distress among perinatal women and an intervention to address treatment-interfering cannabis use among patients presenting for eating disorder treatment. Dr. McComb is passionate about training the next generation of scientist-practitioners and is regularly involved in the clinical and research supervision of undergraduate and graduate students.
